Andrew Zellner is a 2013 RHP/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Farmersville, OH who attends Valley View HS. Tall slender build, projectable pitcher's frame. Leg raise delivery, stays tall and balanced over the rubber, compact arm action, rotational upper half delivery mechanics and could extend better out front. Fastball to 88 mph, primary fastball pitcher and showed the ability to spot his fastball, mostly straight but will show promising cutting action at times. Flashes hard curveball spin and bite but needs to command curveball more effectively, rare change up. Competed well and was aggressive. Right handed hitter, stays on his backside, uppercut swing plane, some bat speed and lift at times, pull approach. Signed with Cincinnati.
