Brendan Rodgers is a 2015 SS/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lake Mary HS. Medium frame, athletic build, some present strength and projects for added strength with physical maturity. High level hitter. Big stride, moving parts to swing but controls them well, generates plus bat speed with regular swing and can get long to create legitimately plus bat speed at times. Hits from an open stance, quick hands, shows solid present power with potential develop more, direct hand path, crushed balls that registered at 88 and 93 mph in the same game, hit four balls over the Green Monster during BP. Solid defensive actions, couple of nice plays in-game defensively, good footwork, good backhand skills, soft hands. Good student.
