Matt Meadows is a 2011 LHP/1B/OF with a 6'1'', 155 lb. frame from Shiloh, IL who attends O'Fallon HS. Slender athletic body, very young look. Small quick leg raise delivery, compact arm stroke, hides ball well, has arm quickness but lacks present strength. Steady 79-80 mph fastball, mostly straight, change up dives hard at the plate and is his best pitch, short tight slider break, will need to improve FB command. Quiet balanced approach hitting, pretty smooth swing, stays inside the ball well, line drive swing, hands work well to the ball.
