Briar Patterson is a 2011 3B/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Tolar, TX who attends Granbury HS. Medium frame, some present strength. 7.25 runner, moves well defensively, athletic actions, throws carry well. Quiet hitting approach, limited load/trigger, level arm type swing, could use arms better in swing, line drive contact, shows occasional lift. Also pitched, good arm strength, compact clean arm, high 3/4's release, standard delivery, steady 83-85 mph fastball, some spin on curveball, has potential on the mound. Good student.
