Justin Allen is a 2013 OF/3B, RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Piedmont, SC who attends Wren HS. Medium athletic build. Left handed hitter, good balanced swing, gets to his front side early at times, good hands to the ball, short quick swing, sound hitting mechanics, squares it up consistently, waiting for the strength to kick in to develop power. 6.85 runner, graded out better at present in the infield. Good quickness defensively, plenty of arm strength, charges ball well in the infield. Footwork still developing in the outfield, shows arm strength with on line throws. Good athlete whose bat will play. Excellent student.
