Ryan Krill is a 2011 1B/OF with a 6-4 210 lb. frame from Kalamazoo, MI who attends Portage Central. Tall lean well built body, present strength. Showed good bat speed with strength at contact and the ability to drive the ball to all fields. Good balance at the plate, leverage in his swing, could get more from lower half to hit for more power. Swing is long but has the bat speed to be successful with it. Good defensively at 1B, polished footwork and moves well laterally. Excellent student, committed to Michigan State.

Rock back load hitting, works thru ball well, good hitting rhythm, has leverage at contact, has some lift, projects power, good hands at contact, shows his bat speed. Good actions at first base, moves laterally well, some arm strength. Bat is his big tool. Very good student.

Nice balanced swing, big lift with some upper cut, works hands through ball well, should continue to gain bat speed, like his chance to be an impact player with the bat. Playable defensive tools, will have to work on agility/speed. Excellent student. Follow closely.
