James Edward Satterfield is a 2011 RHP/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Clinton, SC who attends Laurens Academy. Tall lean build, projects well. High leg kick delivery, over the top arm slot, some effort, compact quick arm action, consistent with his delivery but not with his release point. 76-78 mph fastball, good downhill angle at times, tends to be flat when up, did not throw a breaking ball or change up. Has some strength at the plate, looks to pull and lift, swings hard. Good student.
