Michael Karanda is a 2008 OF/MIF from Glastonbury, Connecticut, with an athletic 5'9"/140 pound frame. In the outfield, Karanda gets behind the ball well and has an accurate arm. He gets good carry on his throws across the infield. He has very good hands and made solid accurate throws. As a right handed hitter, Michael hits from a wide and relaxed stance with a line drive swing plane. He uses his hips well and makes consistent solid contact. Karanda was 3-4 with a double at the plate in game action.

Michael is a very young '08 2B from Glastonbury, CT small 5-7/135lb body that lacks maturity at this point. He is young with a lot of maturity in his future. He has a nice controlled plate presence with solid mechanics. He hits with a non-stride approach and high hands. A nice young 2008 IF to keep an eye on as he matures.
