Michael Evans is a 2006 outfielder and second baseman with a 5'10" 175 pound frame from Lake Worth, Florida who attends Park Vista High School. He has a athletic frame and good strength. Michael is a left handed hitter with a slightly open stance. He stays under control and is very balanced in his swing. His swing is short and quick which produce lots of line drives to all fields. He battles and works the count but is still aggressive when he gets the pitch he is looking for. He also showed good power to the opposite field. Evans is very aggressive in the field as well and showed a strong arm by throwing 88 mph from the outfield during the workout. He can get to most balls in the outfield very easily. His speed is another added bonus to his game as he ran a 6.88 60 and a 4.43 down the line. Michael is a good looking young player who should be able to help out a lot of programs.
