Reid Collins is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from West Hartford, CT who attends Kingswood Oxford High School. He has a medium athletic frame with a lean build and room to fill. As an outfielder he has good footwork while working through the ball well and staying online. Collins showed good arm strength with a solid arm action while making low online throws. During BP, he displayed a line drive swing plane with quick hands and the ability to lift the ball. On the mound, he showed sound mechanics while having a balanced online delivery with a good finish. He has a long loose arm action with a ¾ arm slot. His out pitch was a 12/6 curveball that had some bite.
