Tyler King is a 2010 LHP/1B with a 6'0'', 210 lb. frame from Republic, MO who attends Republic HS. Strong mature body, high waist. Big leg raise delivery, fast paced with effort at release, overhand arm slot, hides ball well and has deception. Mid 80's FB topped at 87 mph, commanded FB well, threw inside to LHH'ers. CB has big 1/7 power break, hard spin, may have to shorten it up for better CB command, potential plus pitch. Tough at bat for left handed hitters. Very good student, signed with Nebraska.

Tyler King is a 2010 LHP with a 6'0'', 185 lb. frame from Republic, MO who attends Republic HS. Medium athletic build, some strength. Nice repeatable delivery, uses lower half well, high 3/4's release. FB was 82-84 mph with arm side run in the Metrodome. Curveball and change up are both good pitches, hard spin on CB with downer break, change fades well with good arm speed at release. Shows pitchability, mixes up pitches, locations, needs to fine tune FB command. We have seen him at higher velocity. Excellent student.

Tyler King is a 2010 LHP with a 5'11'', 186 lb. frame from Republic, MO who attends Republic HS. Medium athletic build, some strength. Fast paced delivery, high leg kick, extended 3/4's release, lots of deception. Steady 84 mph with late life, ball gets off barrell late. CB very sharp at times, big sweeping break, tight spin. Change is good pitch, nice arm speed. Feel for 3 pitches and mixes them up well. Strong comparision to LHP Buddy Baumann (Missouri State) at same age. Very good student.
