Andrew Morrison is a 2007 RHP/SS/2B with a 5'11'', 165 lb. frame from Old Saybrook CT, who attends Old Saybrook. Morrison has a medium sized frame with a thin build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot and a medium arm action. He throws with good arm speed and his arm works. Morrison is a max effort pitcher and uses a tall and fall style delivery. He throws uphill and uses a full wind-up. Morrison is aggressive in the strike zone and really attacks hitters. The throws an 11/5 curveball with good spin and a change-up with maintained arm speed. At the plate, Morrison starts with a wide stance and takes a deep load. He swings off his front foot and has an uppercut swing path. He has quick hands with bat speed. Defensively, Morrison has quick transfers and release and follows his throws well. He made a great turn at 2B in the showcase game. He has good arm strength as well.
