Joe Miller is a 2006 right handed pitcher from Valley Stream, NY with a strong thick build at 6-3, 205 lbs. He has a slow, controlled delivery with some effort at release. Miller hides the ball very well with a compact arm action and a closed delivery. His fastball topped out at 87 mph in Atlanta with heavy running action. His 71 mph curveball had a good, tight break across the strike zone. Miller's 74 mph change up had some sink on occasion. Miller has a good idea how to pitch and mix things up while keeping the hitters off balance. He's a good student who has signed to go to High Point.
