At the plate he has a loose and relaxed approach and showed good bat speed. He has the potential to be a solid gap to gap hitter. In the field Jason is athletic around the bag with soft hands at first base. He has a solid arm action and good feel for the game. Jason is a player that should attract the attention of many small to mid-level college programs.

Jason Sinclair is a 2007 1B/OF from St. Luke's HS in Brewster, NY with a 6'0", 190 lb. frame. He has a thick athletic build and good present strength for his age. At the plate Jason shows good bat speed and strength in his swing with the potential to get quite a bit better. At times Jason gets a little too tight at the plate causing him to lift to many balls. When he relaxes, he gets his hands through the zone much better. In the outfield Jason moves well to the ball, but struggled a little getting rid of the ball. First base looks to be his best position as he has soft hands and a good feel around the bag. Jason looks to be a player that could strive in a smaller college program.

Jason Sinclair is a 2007 1B/OF with a 6'0'', 190 lb. frame from Brewster NY, who attends St Luke's. Sinclair has a nice frame with a solid build. Defensively, Sinclair has good active feet when fielding the ball and moves around the base well at 1B. He throws with a short arm action and has a quick arm. He has solid hands and can make the picks at 1B. At the plate, Sinclair starts with a medium width base and has a quiet approach in the box. He has a deep load and gets loaded late. He uses a short stride and stays balanced through his swing. Sinclair takes his hands to the ball well and keeps his stroke short. He has bat speed and he has a nice smooth stroke. Sinclair has good extension in his swing and has present gap to gap power. He can hit the ball hard to all fields and has good power potential. Sinclair will definitely hit at the next level.
