Christian Wolfe is a 2009 1B/P with a 6'1'', 155 lb. frame from Bel Air, MD who attends The John Carroll School. Slender athletic look, long limbs, developing strength. Feet work around 1B, soft hands, moves well laterally, accurate throws. Square stance with medium crouch, high hand set, good approach, aggressive at times, has batspeed, squares ball up, drives ball to pullside, barrel stays flat. Throws from 3/4 slot, good armspeed, good build for mound, full windup, shows downward plane, 1-7 CB, shows ASR on FB, very good student.

Christian Wolfe is a 2009 1B/P with a 6'1'', 150 lb. frame from Bel Air, MD who attends John Carroll. Christian has a lean athletic build with a good amount of room to add strength. At the plate Christian has a smooth left-handed swing and stays inside the baseball well. He has a low effort hitting approach and is able to hit the ball to all parts of the field. In the field Christian has very good actions at first base. He has a short loose arm actions to go with good hands and solid footwork. On the mound Christian also has a short loose arm action that produces nice armside run. He has clean mechanics and is around the plate with all his pitches. Christian is a solid student with good upside at the plate and should attract the attention of many mid to higher-level college programs.
