Eddie Rogers is a 2024 RHP/ with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Lincolnton, NC who attends Combine Academy. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with a medium length arm swing, gets into his lower half somewhat driving down the mound, limited shoulder tilt. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, throws it to both sides of the plate with some intent and gets some run and sink arm side. Tends to slow his arm on a slurve type breaking ball, gets some two-plane depth at times, can improve this pitch at the next level. Maintained his arm speed better on the change up, mostly straight. Has an idea on the mound, key to taking the next step will be the breaking ball. Good student, verbal commitment to UNC-Greensboro. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
