Dan Feinberg is a 2008 RHP with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Goshen, NY who attends Goshen HS. He has a medium build with some athletic looseness in his actions. Feinberg has a slow paced, deliberate delivery leading up to his release but falls off pretty hard to the first base side at release. His effort and balance at the end affected his command, as he consistently held on to the ball too long and missed low, and also likely his velocity. Feinberg's fastball topped out at 84 mph and was mostly 81-82 mph while being pretty straight. His curveball was his best pitch, topping out at 70 mph and showing good spin and some sharpness at times. Feinberg had the same type of pull off at the end of his swing in batting practice, so it's something that looks endemic to his athletic actions. He has some arm strength and should develop further with adjustments. Feinbert is a good student off the field.
