Eddie San Roman is a 2005 OF from Miami. He is a physically strong and mature young prospect with a very good line drive bat. He’s a skilled hitter who has had plenty of repetitions and experience against better pitchers and it shows at the plate. San Roman hits the ball hard consistently and hits it where it’s pitched. A little more extension in his swing would probably result in more loft power. Defensively, San Roman is a corner outfielder with better than playable arm strength and speed. His arm is loose and his throws are accurate and on line. San Roman plays hard and looks like a good student of the game. He runs better than the 60 yard time he showed in Ft Myers. Has a chance to play at a high level.

Eddie San Roman -- San Roman is a veteran of a number of WWBA events, so we’ve seen him frequently. He’s a junior outfielder out of Miami with good physical tools. San Roman isn’t especially big at 5-11, 165 lb. but he has wiry strength and is much stronger than he looks. San Roman has a quiet, balanced swing with good bat speed and the ability to make adjustments. He had hits in all three games in Fort Myers and made consistent good contact towards the middle of the field. San Roman is a good runner with close to average big league speed and a nice athletic stride. His arm strength is also good and he’s very playable at all three outfield positions. Good "05" prospect!

San Roman is an "05" OF/Corner INF from Miami. He has an athletic 5'11/165 body with room for projection. He runs well and shows outstanding instincts. His arm is a projectable tool that plays now and will get even better. He made a few great plays in the outfield. Solid hitter with a nice inside/out approach. Creates bat speed with a good swing plane. Gap to gap power, he makes the wood sound good. The ball jumps off the wood in a hurry. Could be an over the fence guy in the future. Good athlete, good player, bright future.
