Top performers: Fastball velocity 
PG All-Americans Justin Hooper (p) and Mike Nikorak both peaked at 97 mph at Perfect Game events in 2014 as we listed all of the top peak velocities from the past year.

Top performers: POP times 
PG All-American catcher Wyatt Cross tied for the second best POP time from behind the plate at a Perfect Game event in 2014, recording a 1.76 second throw to second base at the National Showcase.

'Aloha' from West Uncommitted 
Three residents of Hawaii were on hand for the PG West Uncommitted Showcase in Glendale, AZ, Dec. 6-7, including 2015 C/OF Shaye Higa, who was named to the event's Top Prospect List.

Top performers: Catcher velocity 
Herbert Iser, a 2016 grad, posted peak velocities from behind the plate of 85 and 86 mph, ranking among the best of any player that participated at a Perfect Game event in 2014.

BP Top Prospects: Diamondbacks 
Baseball Prospectus' team-by-team top prospect breakdowns shift to the NL West, with PG All-American Archie Bradley standing out on top of a pitching rich Arizona Diamondbacks system.

17u Travel Team Rankings 
Nick Sprengel and GBG Marucci surge to the No. 3 spot in the updated 17u travel team rankings after winning the PG/EvoShield Upperclass Championship as well as a semifinal finish in Jupiter.

PG's joint venture with Baseball Prospectus, the 'Before They Were Pros' series continues with a look at New York Yankee Ian Clarkin and some of the other top prospects in the AL East.

For the second year in a row PG All-American Josh Naylor recorded the top infield velocity from first base as we list all of the top performers from the 2014 event season.
