Midwest Select Championship Scout Notes

Kingston Kost (2026, Des Moines, Iowa) has an extra-large frame in the box that helps him generate power and torque in his swing. Kost started his tournament off well for Iowa Select 2026, with a loud triple to the opposite field. He also added a single up the middle in his first at-bat on the night. Kost, listed at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, has some strength in his frame and projects well at first base moving forward. There isn’t much quick twitch in his build but his skill set is solid and should continue to develop as long as strength is added to the frame and physical maturity continues to happen.
