Florida often takes advantage of the fact it resides in the talent-rich Sunshine State when it comes to recruiting elite talent. However, it also knows when to take things to the national stage, as the Gators secured one of the nation's elite two-way players in Puk, the Iowan. Puk is a tall 6-foot-6, 205-pounder, who has an easy arm motion and topped out at 92 last summer. He also showed well in the PG Midwest Showcase, where he was 87-89 with a fastball that was good up in the zone. Additionally, he flashed a 74 mph curveball with depth and was hard to pick up.
