For the past few days, several teams from around the country have competed well in Jupiter, Fla., for the right to hold the WWBA Championship trophy.

 

Marucci Elite prospered through a rigorous tournament schedule and captured the title with a thrilling win over Central FL PG Royal.

 

This is Part II of our series highlighting the top prospects from the final two days of action.

 

 

HOUSTON HEAT 7, ALL STAR ACADEMY 4

-- 2012 uncommitted prospect, RHP Ballard Infante, was impressive for the Heat. He was consistently 87-89 with his fastball and 74-77 with his curveball.

 

 

SOUTH FLORIDA PG KELLY GREEN 4, BO JACKSON MIDWEST 1

-- 2012 uncommitted prospect, RHP Jesus Colon, was impressive for South Florida. Colon was consistently 87-90 with his fastball, 77 with the curveball, 80-81 with the slider and 81 with the changeup.

 

 

NORTHWEST SCOUT TEAM 7, SOUTH PG NAVY 2

-- 2012 uncommitted prospect, RHP Ian Gibaut, once again was solid for South PG Navy. Gibaut was 89-91 with his fastball and 76 with the curveball.

 

 

CHET LEMON’S JUICE 1, GEORGIA PG TEXAS ORANGE 0

-- 2012 Florida commit, SS/P Tyler Danish, was 87-88 with his fastball in a short relief stint.

 

 

REDS MIDWEST SCOUT TEAM 6, KENTUCKY BASEBALL CLUB 0

-- 2013 Kentucky commit, RHP Clinton Hollon, earned another outing and once again was very impressive. Hollon was consistently 91-94 with his fastball, 77-79 slider and 84 with his changeup.
