Using the GameChanger technology, Perfect Game will stream live pitch-by-pitch updates to the web for over 10,000 games annually, while tracking over 140 stats and 400 scouting metrics for every player. This revolutionizing of amateur scouting -- a process previously managed with paper and pencil -- makes the recruiting process more efficient for pro and college teams while ensuring visibility for every recruit.

The free GameChanger scorekeeping apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are designed for coaches and scorekeepers of amateur teams. During the game, a volunteer scorekeeper records all the action on the app’s touch-screen: tapping simple menus for balls, strikes and hits, and dragging and dropping defensive players and base-runners. As each play is recorded, the app beams live pitch-by-pitch updates to the Internet so fans can follow in real-time on web browsers or mobile phones. Over 15,000 amateur teams have used the GameChanger software since its 2010 launch.

As part of the deal with Perfect Game, new features have been designed for the GameChanger iPad app that will capture over 400 evaluative player notes, rating every aspect of the athlete’s potential including hitting, pitching, fielding, and running.
