Right-hander Gerrit Cole has struggled to become even a .500 pitcher this spring at UCLA, and third baseman Anthony Rendon has been relegated to mostly a DH role at Rice because of a lingering shoulder injury, but they remain the two top prospects as the 2011 baseball draft is little more than a month away.

In Perfect Game’s latest ranking of the draft’s Top 100 Prospects, Cole holds down the No. 1 spot and Rendon is No. 2. Entering the season, the rankings were reversed. College left-handers Jed Bradley of Georgia Tech and Danny Hultzen of Virginia are nipping at their heels at No. 3 and 4.
