Cape Clubs Cling to Top 2 Spots

SUMMER 30
Cape Clubs Cling to Top 2 Spots

With the top two teams and three of the top four, Cape Cod League teams continue to dominate PG CrossChecker’s ranking of the nation’s top 30 summer-league clubs. The Cape’s Brewster Whitecaps (11-3) are the No. 1 team for the second week in a row.

PG CrossChecker’s ranking of summer league clubs are compiled in conjunction with the summer-league website,www.summercollegebaseball.net. The nation’s top 30 summer-league teams will be ranked each week, on Tuesday or Wednesday. An emphasis is placed on the league’s competitive level, the prospective professional-quality talent on each club, a team’s won-loss record and its league dominance in arriving at the rankings. Each club must have at least a .500 record to be eligible.
