Perfect Game Staff

Hunter Baynes (2023, Bradenton, Fla.) filled up the zone on Wednesday. His fastball sat 86-88 mph, topping out at 89. He threw a sweeping slider in the mid-70s. His changeup had good fade and created problems for opposing hitters. The Maryland commit struck out 6 batters over 3.0 innings of work. His fastball had heavy sink, drawing swings and misses. His delivery was very fluid down the mound, and he tunneled his pitches effectively.

Stephen Hammergren (‘23, WA) has been 86-88 mph T89 on the FB. Sweeping SL has missed barrels. FB has ASR from a L3/4 slot. @PGNorthwest
