Round Robin Southeast Scout Notes: Day 1

Kareh Valentin (2021 Douglasville, Ga.) impressed with his quick twitch and athleticism on day one of the WWBA Round Robin here in Hoover, Ala. Valentin, the College of Central Florida commit, played a smooth shortstop for the Upstate Mavericks ST. He moved well laterally giving himself hops that he could handle with good reads before showing off a clean transfer and quick release. At the plate he showed his good hands once again with a swing featuring a simple approach with the hands doing a lot of the work as he keeps the barrel in the zone a long time.
