The Northwoods League is already known as the summer league that most-closely resembles the day-to-day grind of the minor leagues, and a majority of the league’s top prospects are first- or second-year college players getting their first taste of what they can expect down the road. This summer will be a springboard again for many, of bigger and better things to come.

Look no further than some of the freshmen that have played in the league in recent years.
