Kash VanHouten is a 2027 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Canton, IL who attends Canton. Recorded a 7.10 second sixty yard dash time. Taller and lean frame with some strength present. Primary shortstop gets to the spots and glove works well up the middle. Moved well and with athletic actions. Longer arm action with arm strength and whip to the arm. Gets it out quickly with accurate throws across. Secondary outfielder stays low through contact and footwork is pretty sound. Is light on the feet and accelerates through well. Ball comes out well with a fast arm with good carry and a good flight with accuracy. The right-handed hitter starts with a wide base and a spread stance with open feet and high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Barrel wrap and coil with a quick operation and with bat speed and a very direct path. Using the whole field with good impact to the pull-side and back up the middle. Quick hands and the ability to barrel it all over the field and can get extended. Developing power tool and feel for the barrel. Also threw an inning on the mound.
