Jaden McCoy is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Cardinal Ritter. Primary LHP with a medium sized build. Works from the stretch with good drop and drive mechanics. Throws from a high 3/4 slot but needs to be more consistent with the release point. Showed some feel to spin with his slider and went to a curve with 1-7 shape and some depth. Also worked out form the outfield. Fields it cleanly out in front off his front leg and maintains good momentum through the ball. Made throws with good accuracy some carry behind them. Ran a 7.49 sixty. Left-handed hitter with a narrow base starting slightly open. Low handset dips into load hunching over the front side. Uses a small leg lift and stride for timing. Hands really control the load. Rotates hard at the top half of things and clears the hips well with some bat speed. Just needs to get on plane more and be more consistent with the barrel. Good student.
