Tyson Scott is a 2018 2B/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Lee's Summit, MO who attends Lees Summit West High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.01 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fielded the ball deep, extended release, ability to change slots up the middle, and developing arm strength. Started with a wide base, slightly open stance, high hand set, and a longer stride to the ball. Deeper hip coil at the start with quickness to the hands. Hits off backside at times with developing feel for timing. Worked with an opposite field and up the middle approach. Will continue to improve with additional strength and rhythm in swing.
