Griffin Greenwood is a 2017 RHP with a 6-5 186 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial HS. Greenwood has a large frame with long legs and a lean build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Greenwood sticks the ball in back and gets some extension at release. He gets his hips closed at balance point and works exclusively from the stretch. Greenwood has some arm speed with some whip and the velocity projects. He has a cross body delivery with some deception. Greenwood throws an 11/5 curveball at 72 MPH with developing shape and spin to it. There's more velocity in there and he's an interesting arm to keep an eye on. Good student.
