Austin Testerman is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Melissa, TX who attends Melissa HS. Has a younger frame, lean build, will most certainly put on more muscle as he continues to mature physically and put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.75 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, has a relaxed pace to his delivery with a medium leg lift and small crouch and the peak. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with long arm action and a big arm circle through the back. Fastball has some natural cutting action, curveball has big break. Pounds the throws and works efficiently. From the infield, had good hands and quick transfers into accurate throws across. At the plate, has a wide base and high hand set. Uses a middle of the field approach with a simple swing to find good barrels. Good barrel control for age and should continue to develop nicely. Good student..
