Damian Moya is a 2017 RHP/SS with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Mission, TX who attends Sharyland HS. Has a lean build with plenty of room to continue to put on additional muscle to his frame. Posted a 6.99 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, has a side step start delivery with brief pause over the rubber. Throws from a mid thee-quarters arm slot that generates lots of running and sinking action on fastball. Keeps the ball low in the zone and makes hitters swing the bat. Fastball will have occasional cutting action. Curveball has big break with good feel. Has a game plan and feel for the situation on the bump. From the infield, solid lateral movements with short footwork to the baseball, made accurate throws across. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a bent knee stance. Uses a middle of the field approach with lift through the point of contact.
