Charlie Rhee is a 2020 OF/2B, 3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends St. Augustine. Medium frame with a lean build and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.09 sixty-yard dish. Primary outfielder clean, smooth paced footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Funnels off to side and worked through exchange efficiently. Maintains momentum towards the bag while releasing from a three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated accurate carry to the bag topping at 82 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing good range to each side while surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and showed fluidity while working through exchange. Displayed good arm strength for size that created on line carry across the infield at 81 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, slightly open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Worked to contact with rotational lower half actions. Utilized a line drive barrel plane and showed some feel for the barrel throughout the zone. Primarily employed a mid-field approach but showed the balance to work to all fields as well. Excellent student.
