Corey Flanagan is a 2017 LHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Clear Lake HS. Has a large frame, athletic build, and room to fill out even more as he continues to put on additional strength. Posted a 7.52 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, works out of the stretch with a high tempo to his delivery. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with with long arm action. Lands slightly closed through delivery creating a bit of a crossfire producing good running life on his fastball. Good deception throughout his delivery. Curveball has 1/7 shape with lots of depth. Defensively, stays low when approaching balls with solid strength on throws. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with a narrow, open stance and small bat wrap. Has good strength and swing and natural lift through the point of contact.
