Brayton Miller is a 2017 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Harris County HS. Large frame with athletic, solid present build; good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.20 seconds. Sets up to hit from open stance with high hands and high back elbow set, big leg lift trigger into stride with good weight transfer into swing. Gets onto slightly uppercut swing plane, shows good bat speed with strength at contact and good projection for additional power. Showed ability to hit the ball squarely to all fields. Worked out defensively in a pair of spots. Fields well out front in infield, moves well out of fielding into crow hop and shows good transfer with efficient footwork, clocked up to 80 MPH across the diamond with clean release. Showed solid actions at 1st base, gets off bag well and shows comfortable footwork around the bag, pivots well and makes accurate throws to both 2B and 3B, clocked again up to 80 MPH across the diamond. Very good student.
