Hayden Schaefer is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from O'Fallon, IL who attends O'Fallon High School. Long lean build with room to fill out and add strength to frame. Hit from a slightly open stance, loose swing with good extension through ball. Power projects with added strength. Has an aggressive approach to hitting and squared up well with good bat speed.Defensively, smooth action, fields ball out front. :Shows athletic ability on move and feet work, was in control of body at all times. Has good upside at plate and defensively. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect List.
