Evan Minarovic is a 2019 SS/RHP with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends The John Cooper HS. Medium athletic build, has some wiry strength with room for more. 6.71 runner, shows tools and athleticism in the infield on defense, aggressive moving to the ball, quick release with very good arm strength, plays defense with confidence, middle infielder at the next level. Right handed hitter, has a deep load that creates some length in his swing, good extension through contact, loose swing with bat speed, solid mid field line drive contact. Also pitched, has coil and lower half use in his delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, has good pace and athleticism in his mechanics. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 85 mph, curveball spin is tight with good power to the pitch, change up has nice fade and good feel on release. More there in his arm as a pitcher. Very nice all around player. Very good student.
