Jordan Coffey is a 2019 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Deer Creek HS. Coffey has a medium sized frame with a thicker build and some strength. He gains ground on his pop throws and stays low through release. Coffey has some quickness to his transfers and he throws with a short arm action. He showed developing receiving tools and put his throws on the bag. Coffey showed some arm strength up to 74 MPH. At the plate Coffey starts with a slightly open stance and uses a big rock back load to start his swing. He uses a big hand curl load and has some strength in his swing. Coffey showed some hitting tools and will need to make a few adjustments to really improve. He has some power potential and made some hard contact. Excellent student.
