Adrian Hernandez is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame, full of fast-twitch muscle. Outstanding runner, posted a 6.58 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, quick actions moving towards the ball, full and loose arm action through the back side, gets on top of throws well land shows solid carry out of the hand, up to 90 mph and ball comes out clean, repeats actions well and shows accuracy to bag. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance in the box and a high hand set and back elbow. Shifts well into contact, has some timing mechanisms to swing but remains balanced. Contact approach in the box but shows leverage to swing with jump off the barrel when extended, fluid swing with solid carry to the middle of the field. Torques well with lower half into contact and generates good bat speed through the zone. Named to Junior National Top Prospect List.
