2023 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 12)
Tyde Borden is a 2025 RHP/3B, SS, OF, UT with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Decatur, AL who attends Priceville. Primary right-handed pitcher with a slender frame showing room to add strength to the build. Ran a 7.58 second sixty. Worked out well on the infield moving well around the ball and receiving the ball deeper on the body and funneling cleanly as he transitions into the throws with projectable arm strength and accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter starts slightly open with a leg lift trigger shifting the weight well into contact. Does a nice job attacking the inner half of the ball with a compact linear path creating line drive contact with backspin to the pull side and pull side gap. Excellent student.
