2024 Puerto Rico National Showcases Qualifier
Yandel Gonzalez Reyes is a 2025 RHP with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Trujillo Alto, PR who attends Colegio Angel David. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projectability remaining. Throws from a low 3/4's release slot, front side is early opening and tends to pitch and miss to the glove side. Only threw fastballs this outing, topping out at 85 mph. Will need to continue to work on his mechanics and developing his secondary pitches but has arm talent and projection. Good student.
