Diego Rosa Burgos is a 2025 C/1B with a 5-11 184 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends IBAHS. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, has a pretty simple and well-timed hitting approach at the plate, stays within himself and repeats, line drive swing plane with very good present bat speed, not a lot of lift at present but big impact off the barrel, projects more power as he gets more experience. 6.95 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has big athleticism and arm strength defensively, really stood out on this side of the ball, movements are quick and balanced, outstanding carry on his throws. High level prospect. Good student. Named to the Puerto Rican National Showcases Qualifier Top Prospect List.
