Ethan Reese is a 2025 OF/RHP/UT with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Hulbert, OK who attends Fort Gibson. Medium frame with strong build and nice athletic overall skillset. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.09 seconds. Primary position outfielder, moving to the ball well and working the glove out front to a deeper midline transfer. Quick, loose arm action with excellent strength and hand speed creating throws up to 88 mph to bags. Took reps on the infield with similar solid fundamentals, making plays and showed 84 mph across the diamond. Secondary position RHP, working from a hybrid type windup and breaking has at the chest into classic 3/4 arm angle. Linear path down the slope and repeats very well, pounding the strike zone. Fastball up to 86 mph with extremely high spin rates of 2,700+ rpms. Emerging feel for a mostly vertical curveball in the low-70s and flashed a couple changeups. Missed a ton of bats with his riding fastball. Right handed hitter, working from an open base and taking a direct path with hands to impact. Upward path to the ball creating lofted power and creates very good bat speed with his strong hands. Very interesting two-way talent here who is also a tremendous student.
