Luis Díaz is a 2026 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Santa Isabel, PR who attends Luis Llorens Torres. Big and thick build with good present strength. 7.96 runner in the sixty. Left handed hitter, has a long and loose swing, swings hard with a tight core turn and turns the barrel hard, had some barrel accuracy and created nice pull side jump, has the strength to continue to develop as a hitter. Primary catcher on defense, sets up high behind the plate, replaces his feet well throwing, some developing arm strength, can continue to work on his lower half flexibility and quickness. Also played first base and had good actions there, moved well laterally and made accurate throws, may end up at first base if the bat continues to improve. Good student.
