Gabriel Morales (2016 RHP, Arecibo, PR) topped out at 85mph this afternoon with a curveball at 69mph. Morales pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with the ability to sink his fastball and has depth to his curveball.
Yadiel Villalongo (2016 RHP, Florida, PR) also topped out at 85mph to go with his curveball at 65mph. Villalongo has sink on his fastball with an easy arm action a balanced and deliberate tempo to his delivery with depth to his curveball.
Alexis Torres (2016 SS, Caguas, PR) had a good day on the infield today. Torres displayed smooth easy actions at short stop with good lateral quickness.
Jesse Fajardo (2016 RHP, Carolina, PR) sat 86-89mph with his fastball topping out at 90mph to go with his curveball at 73mph and his changeup at 83mph. Fajardo has a loose arm action with an explosive fastball he is aggressive mixing in his off-speed pitches for strikes and has good sharp break on his curveball with depth.
Yelnie Rivera (2016 LHP, Vega Alta, PR) sat 83-87mph on his fastball with it topping out at 88mph pairing it with a curveball at 71mph. Rivera has a quick arm action, the ball comes out of his hand his fastball has good run to it and he uses an up-tempo delivery to get hitters off-balance.
Abdel Guadalupe (2015 OF, Fajardo, PR) had a Home Run in the game for the Cardinal team. Guadalupe's Home Run was a no doubter, he has good bat speed with serious pop in his bat and the ball jumps off his bat.
