6/15/2015 8:12:50 AM
Black (1) Highlights

Noah Terrones (2016 3B, Oceanside, CA): Had a pair of hard hits in Saturday's game vs the Cardinal team, including a double. He ended up coming around the score a run as well. He shows the ability to stay on the ball and drive it to all fields.

Bryce Pongs (2016 OF, Corona, CA): Had two singles in the game on Saturday morning, takes a hack with intent to hit the ball hard. Shows solid bat speed, overall feel for hitting, and nice looseness in swing mechanics.

Shaun Cain (2018 LHP, Spring Valley, CA): The young, projectable Cain had a lot of success on Saturday morning, throwing 3 scoreless innings for the Black team. He struck out 4 opposing hitters while scattering 4 hits, working around the plate and often giving up weak contact.

Cardinal (2) Highlights

Tiger Adams (2018 OF, Los Angeles, CA): Adams showed off some serious hitting ability on Saturday, smoking a pair of doubles in the game. He takes a big hack with intent to hit the baseball very hard, has bat to ball ability, and projectable power.

Anthony Agrusa (2016 RHP, Mission Viejo, CA): Agrusa, listed as a primary pitcher, did a ton of damage with his bat on Saturday. He went 3-4 in the game on Saturday with a single, double, and long home run. He's aggressive early in the count and has an overall aggressive approach with solid power.

Michael Odgers (2016 SS, Apple Valley, CA): The athletic and projectable Odgers had a huge day, going 3-3 with a single, double, and home run. Has good bat speed with natural loft in swing; as well as quality overall approach to hitting.

Christopher Ritter (2016 C, Riverside, CA): Ritter continually impressed behind the plate in Saturday's game, moving well and showing off a strong arm down to 2B. Continually clocked sub 2.0 seconds during warm up pop times. Really smooth actions throughout, also contributed a pair of singles in the game.

Zack Sherwood (2017 3B, San Juan Capistrano, CA): Sherwood had a pair of hits on Saturday, including a double, and scored a run as well. He projects very well offensively with good bat speed, balance throughout, and natural loft in swing.

Zach Gillissie (2017 OF, Corona, CA): Gillissie was a two-way talent on Saturday, driving a double with the bat and showing off quick hands and developing power. Also showed very well on the mound, throwing 2 strong innings working 82-85 T 86 with his fastball and notching a pair of strikeouts while not allowing a run.
