PERFECT GAME ANNOUNCES DETAILS FOR
13U AND 14U NATIONAL SHOWCASE EVENTS
Sanford, Florida (Nov. 1) - Perfect Game, the world’s largest youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service, today announced dates and venues for the 2024 13U and 14U National Showcases that will take place next summer. Both events will be held at Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The fifth annual 13U National Showcase is scheduled for July 19-21. The 13U National Showcase is expected to once again attract the top players in that age group, serving as the ultimate look before putting together the 13U Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival Game rosters.
The 14U National Showcase will be in its eighth year when it occurs from July 26-28. Like the 13U event, the 14U National Showcase will see the country’s elite 14U players compete against each other and will also be must attend event prior to the announcement of the rosters for the 14U Perfect Game Select Baseball Festival Game.
“Both of these National Showcase events are expected to draw a strong contingent of the best baseball players in their age groups to compete against each other,” said Jheremy Brown, Director of 13u and 14u Player Development and Festivals for Perfect Game. “Perfect Game continues to put the spotlight on the most talented amateur baseball players in the country, providing a best-in-class platform for them to achieve their ultimate goal.”
Last month, Perfect Game announced its new Prospect Pathway initiative, a program designed to provide exceptional growth opportunities for 13- and 14-year-old baseball prospects, while offering personalized and cutting-edge progression insights to enhance their career trajectory in the sport. Players attending a Prospect Pathway event in 2024 can earn an invitation to the 13U and 14U National Showcase events.
Perfect Game is the world’s largest elite youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service, producing over 9,800+ events, hundreds of thousands of games, and showcases each year across the country. Perfect Game is dedicated to giving amateur players exposure to take their game to the next level, whether that be in college or in the professional ranks. At Perfect Game events, players are performing with top-level competition in front of college recruiters and professional scouts from all over the country. Because of this, these events prove to be invaluable to college coaches as well as Major League Baseball, as they can scout a large population of talented ballplayers in one location. To date, more than 2,034 players that have played in a Perfect Game event have also played in Major League Baseball. Since 2003, 14,466 Perfect Game alumni have been selected in the MLB First-Year Amateur Player Draft. In the 2023 Draft, for example, 95 percent of all players selected had played in Perfect Game events, and every player selected on the Draft’s first day had previously attended Perfect Game events.
