Austin Gilbert is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Ellis, KS who attends Thomas More Prep Marian. Slender young build. Big side step delivery with a high leg raise over the rubber, long stride down the mound, compact arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot, delivery has some deception to it. Fastball topped out at 68 mph, mostly straight, also threw a soft 12/6 curveball, velocity will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.87 runner in the sixty. Played outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright square stance with a toe tap trigger. Upper body swing with a mid field line drive approach. Good student;
